Few developers can claim to have created a new neighborhood and have had such a massive impact on New York City neighborhoods in the manner that Adellco has had in Chelsea and the surrounding environs of Nomad, Flatiron and Park Avenue South.

Adellco was responsible for the rezoning of the Sixth Avenue Corridor, now called Chelsea, from 23rd to 31st Streets, to high-density residential use. The rezoning was the largest privately led rezoning in New York City history.

Adellco’s experience in the art of assembling adjacent properties and applying the myriad of government programs to add square footage, air rights and tax-oriented benefits to create the most profitable development scenarios.
